Ocala Bike Trail Campout

The boys had a great time riding in the dirt at the Ocala campground. We had a bit of rain but then the skies cleared and the colder weather moved in. Everyone gained 4 pounds with the pancakes, ham sandwiches, pork roast and french fries, plus birthday cake for Zack and Forrest…….we cant wait for the next campout. RAFTING Adventure

So the boys accomplished it! The Nantahala River in North Carolina, 8 miles of water sports and pirating and dodging other rafts.  It was really cool!!! The one hour bus ride through the mountains led us to the river guide who hooked everyone up with a helmet, life vest and a paddle. Wednesday morning

Currently all of the boys are awake and assembled in a circle, getting their daily instructions. Today is the BIG day. Whitewater rafting down the ice cold river…..!!!! After grilling cheese, turkey and ham sandwiches, the boys were ready for their swim test. Everyone was issued a camp wristband and then we all headed down to the lake.
